YOUTH GROUP

The youth group at Burbank First is open to everyone,

with lessons on Sunday mornings and a monthly Game Night!

By creating a family dynamic, we focus on the love of Jesus Christ.

We accept all of God's children! Join us for some fun and fellowship!


We are an active group that come together to discuss school, life, God, and much more. Alongside our weekly meetings, we also do an ample amount of mission work. From our yearly trips with the Sierra Service Project, to We Care bags, to our Pancake Dinner, we are always looking for ways to serve.

Sunday Mornings

  • VOLUNTEER SIGN UP GENIUS: Click HERE to serve our Youth Group on Sunday Mornings! We all have various gifts, so there are various roles you can sign up for in the Sign Up Genius (Hospitality, Facilitator, Friend, and Game Leader). Any commitment makes an impact. If you are a first-time volunteer, I will get in touch with you to ensure you are trained before the first day you serve.
  • THIS WEEK: All 6th-12th graders are welcome to join us in the Youth Room for sweet treats, a game of Pictionary, and the first lesson of our 6-week series on Lent: Letting Go. We’ll learn about what it means to be selfless.

Catacombs

  • THIS SATURDAY (JANUARY 31): This beloved Youth Group game turns the church into a game board! All 6th-12th graders are welcome to join us in Trever Hall at 6:30 PM for food, before we begin our epic Catacomb Adventure all over the church. Pick-up/Dismissal is at 10 p.m. in the Youth Room. Bring a friend and a snack to share. See you there!

Youth Winter Camp: February 14-16

  • Next month, the Cal-Pac UMC Conference is hosting a wonderful Youth Winter Camp on February 14-16 in Wrightwood, CA. This retreat is a meaningful opportunity for youth to make new friends, grow in their faith, embark on snowy adventures, and of course play lots of fun games.
